ANGELES CITY - Mayor Carmelo 'Pogi' Lazatin Jr. announced recently that government employees here will receive their Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) not later than December 23.
"Dahil po sa kasipagan ng Business Permit and Licensing Division (BPLD) staff, nagdesisyon po ako na magpasa ng supplemental budget no. 5, na naaprubahan naman po noong Dec. 12 ng ating Vice Mayor at mga Councilor," he said during the first "Fellowship Night: Recognition of City Hall Employees' and Personnel" on December 13.
He then cited the dedication of the BPLD Office, led by Evangeline Malonzo, for its P100 million excess in business taxes collection.
"Iyan po ay dahil sa ating sound fiscal management at regular saturation drive ng ating mga BPLD employees," he mentioned.
Furthermore, the said SRI bonus will amount to P7,000 each.
"Kasama po sa naaprubahan ay ang P7,000 na SRI bonus. Sa ating pong Local Finance Committee, iprocess na po natin ito next week para po ma-release na sa December 23," he added.
The Mayor shared about the release of Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) bonuses of City Hall employees, which was already distributed on Dec. 13 also.
On behalf of Mayor Lazatin, Executive Asst. IV Reina Manuel coordinated with City Treasurer Juliet Quinsaat regarding this.
It can be recalled that last September, Mayor Lazatin announced that employees of the city government will receive cash incentives in November and December.
Moreover, for the CNA bonus, qualified government employees received a P3,000 cash incentive. The annual CNA incentive is a one-time benefit, and shall be granted not earlier than December 15.
"Akin lamang pong ibinabalik sa inyo ang nararapat para sa inyong magandang serbisyo. Nagawa po nating magbigay ng mga additional bonuses kahit na konti na lamang po ang nadatnan nating budget," he furthered.
Meanwhile, the Mayor cited the efforts of the fellowship night working committee led by Executive Asst. IV Reina Manuel and composed of Mina Cabiles and the Gender and Development (GAD) Office, Michael Lising of Command Center, Irish Bonus of Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (ACEDIPO), Jarmaine Jam Aguila of Record’s Office, Engr. Don Dizon of the City Engineer’s Office (CEO) and Environmental Management Service (EMS), City Nutrition Office, General Services Office (GSO), and City Human Resources Management Office (HRMO).
