Lazatin beefs up anti-corruption drive

ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. vowed that he will not tolerate corruption under his administration.

As he intensified his fight against corruption by the creation of the Internal Affairs Division and continuous inter-office saturation inspection of restaurants and establishments, the Mayor stressed that it is important to identify the risks of corruption.

This is also part of preventive measures under his anti-corruption campaign, to spread the value of integrity to make the City transparent.

According to his previous statement, he will not allow any misconduct in the City. If there is a need to investigate and verify suspicious reports, the government will do its part.

Moreover, the Anti-Corruption Civil Movement General Federation (ACCMGF) has appointed Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. as a “Person of Sincere Anti-Corruption Integrity.”

Deok Ho Weon, ACCMGF Permanent Representative, cited his effort for anti-corruption campaign.
