The tablets for teachers will be distributed after the giving the 55,000 tablets to grades 4 to 12 students in public schools.

All in all the City Government is procuring 58,000 tablets.

Last Saturday, October 3, 2020, the city government began its distribution of the initial 2,017 tablets to five public schools in the city including Cutud Elementary School (359 tablets), Epza Resttlement Elementary School (859 tablets), Marisol Bliss Elementary School (493 tablets), Pulung Cacutud Elementary School (259 tablets), and Leoncia Elementary School (91 tablets).

Mayor Lazatin is urging other students and parents to be patient in waiting for the delivery of their tablets.

The city government is also in the process of finalizing the agreement with local internet providers, in order to meet their objective of providing free and fast internet access for both students and teachers.

Mayor Lazatin has allocated P20 million for the installation of 772 satellite units in the city, to meet the demands of the free internet that will be provided for the teachers and students.
