Mayor Lazatin signs EO for ‘total truck ban extension’ in AC

ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo 'Pogi' Lazatin Jr. has signed Executive Order (EO) No. 31, S-2019, "Extending the Implementation of the Total Truck Ban to cover all roads and streets within the city limits of Angeles.”

According to Mayor Lazatin, there is a need to extend the implementation of total truck ban to other roads and streets in the city, since the existing EO No.6, S-2019 just covers the stretch of Pandan Road, including Pandan Bridge.

Moreso, according to him, considering that numerous trucks ply the different roads of Angeles City on a daily basis, as well as Fil-Am Friendship Highway, this will help lessen the influx of vehicles in major thoroughfares.

There is still an exemption for delivery and light trucks from 9 am to 3 pm and 8 pm to 6 am, along specific routes in streets of the city.

The EO supersedes all previous issuances inconsistent with it.
