ANGELES CITY – The Angeles City Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ACEMPC) and the Angeles City Employees for a New and Dynamic Angeles (AGENDA) commended Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. for providing rice subsidy to all City Hall employees.

On March 31, 2020, Lazatin signed Memorandum No. 584, Series of 2020 which seeks to distribute 10 kilos of rice per employee.

Around 4,000 City Hall employees will receive the rice subsidy, including Contract of Service employees, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Population Workers, and Day Care Workers.

Cura also praised the Mayor for his leadership skills amid the public health crisis caused by COVID-19.

Flordeliza Santos, President of the AGENDA also showed her appreciation for Mayor Lazatin for his kind care to the City Hall employees.

She lauded the Mayor for his hard work, stating that he is a public servant whom the public can count on.

Santos also commended Lazatin for including a P37 million budget for Hazard Pay of frontliners.
