Lazatin distributes rice subsidy to 4,565 brgy personnel

ANGELES CITY – A total of 4,565 barangay officials and workers received five kilos of rice subsidy from Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. last April 20.

Lazatin said the City Government recognizes their contribution in assuring safety and order at the grassroots level during this coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.

“Sila po ang kasama ko na naninilbihan ngayong pandemic na ito. Kaya gusto ko pong siguraduhin na okay din ang kalagayan nila, tulong-tulong po tayo na malampasan ang krisis na ito,” Lazatin said.

A total of 15 Public Utility Jeepneys (PUJs) were rented to deliver the rice assistance to every barangay.

The Barangay Affairs and Public Assistance Center (BAPAC) led the distribution.
