Angeles CIO Page registers 100,000 likes

ANGELES CITY – The Angeles City Information Office (CIO) reported that its CIO Page has now more than 100,000 likes.

The CIO Page of the Angeles City Government is the official source of news and information serving the 33 barangays of the city including Angelenos based overseas.

The CIO Page also airs the weekly “Lingkod Bayan ni Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr.” every Thursdays from 10 to 11am in a bid to increase public awareness on the current plans and programs of the city government including its accomplishments.

The social media has become the “new media” where most of the people get the news and information through their cellphones.

The CIO also handles the Twitter and Instagram accounts of Mayor Lazatin (@pogilazatin).
