Mayor Lazatin: No delay of bonus

ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. ordered the City Human Resource and Management Office, City Budget, City Accounting and City Treasurer to give the year-end and Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) bonuses on time.

He announced this during the Flag Ceremony here at City Hall in Barangay Pulung Maragul.

“Inuutusan ang City HRMO at Local Finance Committee — City Budget, City Accounting, City Treasurer — na sa ilalim na aking administrasyon ang bonus po ng mga empleyado ay dapat matanggap ng mga City Hall employees sa pinaka maagang petsa na itinakda ng batas,” Lazatin said.

He wanted to ensure that City Hall employees will receive their year-end bonus on November 15, 2019 while the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) bonus on or before December 15, 2019.

Lazatin also commended all city hall employees for their hard work and reminded them that they should be truthful and transparent to their jobs at all times.

“I appreciate all our employees’ efforts as I reiterate that I will not tolerate corrupt employees. Sa ngayon po mayroon ilan na ipinapa-imbestiga ko dahil sa corruption. At sinasabi ko sa inyo hindi ko kayo uurungan o bibiruin,” Lazatin stressed.

“Kamukha ng aking ama, akin pong binibigyan ng halaga ang mga kawani natin dito sa City Hall. Kaya sa November 15 po ay matatanggap na natin ang ating year-end bonus,” Lazatin furthered.

He also mentioned that with the help of his Chief Adviser Irish Calaguas, they also found funds for the CNA bonus to be given to the employees by December 15, 2019.

“Kaya po sa December 15, 2019, makakatanggap po ng P3,000 CNA bonus ang ating kawani,” he mentioned.
