Mayor Lazatin distributes livelihood aid to 100 indigent beneficiaries

Angeles City -- Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. led the distribution of livelihood assistance under the Sustainable Livelihood Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on December 12, 2024.

A total of 100 indigent beneficiaries from the city’s 33 barangays received P10,000 each as part of the program, which aims to empower residents through sustainable economic opportunities.

Lazatin opens AC transfer station to boost garbage collection efficiency

ANGELES CITY — Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin, Jr. officially opened the new waste transfer station in Capaya on Dec. 12, which will streamline garbage collection, ensure faster hauling, and eliminate trash piles on the streets.

The 24/7 facility, set to be fully operational in January 2025, was funded by the city government for ?78 million.

Angeles City receives back-to-back Seal of Good Local Governance

ANGELES CITY -- For the second consecutive year, the leadership of Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin, Jr. received the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) by the Department of the Interior and Local Government on Dec. 10, 2024.
