AC Council to probe billing scheme of Converge

Vice Mayor Vicky Vega said the Angeles City Council will investigate the new billing scheme of Converge during the Legislative Inquiry scheduled on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

Vega said the inquiry will be made amid mounting complaints against the Internet and cable provider Converge. The inquiry at the Legislative Building of the Angeles City Hall will start at 2pm.

Mayor Lazatin to ONA: Release 3,158 ‘hostage’ birth certificates

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has ordered the Ospital ning Angeles (ONA) to release some 3,158 birth certificates that are being held by the hospital for failure of patients to settle their bills.

Angeles EHS conducts fumigation in 9 villages

ANGELES CITY – The Angeles City Environmental Health Services (EHS) is currently conducting fumigation in nine barangays here in a bid to prevent the mosquito-borne disease dengue.

Mayor Lazatin orders arrest of persons behind child trafficking

ANGELES CITY – Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has directed the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) on Wednesday to arrest individuals responsible for child trafficking here.

In a letter to PCol Narvin Mangune, City Director of ACPO, Mayor Lazatin ordered the “arrest of persons responsible for child trafficking in Angeles City, as captured by the city’s CCTV surveillance cameras.”
